Manheim Pennsylvania Hosts Its Annual Xtreme Spring Sale and Fundraiser
The sale and charity event included nearly 700 classic, specialty and exotic vehicles and raised $83,850 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation

ATLANTA – March 29, 2023 – Manheim Pennsylvania hosted its annual Xtreme Spring Sale on March 23, bringing high energy and excitement to their lanes and raising money for the local Make-A-Wish organization. Dealers who participated in the physical and digital sale event had an opportunity to bid on nearly 700 unique vehicles, 310 of which sold, including a 2020 Huracan EVO that went for $295,000. In addition, a 2021 Jeep Gladiator with a rooftop tent and off-roading equipment was auctioned off for charity and purchased for $65,000 by Andrew and Angela DeLeo of Manheim Used Car Factory.

“We are grateful and incredibly humbled by the generosity of Manheim Pennsylvania and all of the Xtreme Spring attendees for their support of our mission to grant wishes for critically ill children in our community,” said Jennifer Davis, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley. “The amazing team at Manheim are true wish heroes with huge hearts who went above and beyond to make this a truly wonderful day.”

Manheim Pennsylvania has been hosting its Xtreme Spring Sale – their largest sale – for more than 14 years. The sale attracted more than 3,000 in-lane and digital buyers along with 400-plus dealers who attended the charity gala held that evening. In addition, the auction will be the public send-off point for the annual Make-A-Wish Mother’s Truck Convoy on Sunday, May 14. The event funds more than 75 percent of the life-changing wishes granted to children with critical illnesses in the Susquehanna Valley each year. “We are thrilled to offer our site as the starting point for this enormous truck convoy that benefits Make-A-Wish. It’s always a special experience for our team and our community,” said Joey Hughes, Manheim Pennsylvania vice president and general manager.

Early this month, Manheim Pennsylvania also welcomed the return to weekly live in-lane sales on Thursdays for the first time since the pandemic. To celebrate, the auction ran a Diamond in the Rough promotion on March 23 that gave purchasing dealers a chance to win a .75 carat diamond valued at $6,100. Also new this year, Manheim Pennsylvania hosted the third annual RV and boat specialty sale previously run at Manheim Keystone. The event was moved in 2023 to accommodate the need for expanded space for incoming consignments.
