Since 2008, the team has hosted a monthly Specialty Sale, attracting hundreds of buyers to purchase more than 300 Class A, B & C RV’s, Fifth Wheels, Travel Trailers, Boats, Motorcycles and Powersports.
Fast forward to today, the continued growth in specialty sales at Manheim Dallas-Fort Worth has led the company to invest in a dedicated 3,000 square-foot specialty building to meet growing dealer demand. The facility, located across the street from their wholesale vehicle operation, will have its own staff and will serve dealers in two sales lanes.
On April 14, the team unveiled its new facility at a grand opening event with more than 350 buyers. The three-hour event generated an 82 percent sales rate, selling more than $4M of specialty inventory.
“Specialty vehicles are an important offering at Manheim Dallas-Fort Worth, and now we’re making it even easier for our clients to buy and sell these units,” said Nicole Graham-Ponce, general manager at Manheim Dallas-Fort Worth. “By creating a dedicated facility with an onsite staff right across the street from our traditional auction, we are able to prepare for growth, while providing a seamless experience for our clients."
Manheim Dallas-Fort Worth has been connecting used vehicle buyers and sellers for 17 years, expanding through the years to employ 201 team members and host approximately 1,600 independent and franchise dealers each week. The 112-acre auction site, which was founded in 2000, currently offers approximately 2,300 units each week in-lane and online.
