Manheim Accelerates Toward Unified Marketplace Vision with Digital Enhancements for Buyers

Strategic digital enhancements drive confidence, speed and clarity for clients—today and tomorrow.

ATLANTA – December 8, 2025 – Manheim, a Cox Automotive brand, is raising the bar for wholesale automotive with a wave of buyer-focused enhancements to Manheim.com, setting the stage for digital and physical experiences to connect seamlessly. These aren’t just tech updates—they’re the next chapter in Manheim’s commitment to helping clients succeed in a rapidly evolving industry.

“Today’s dealers need more than just inventory—they need confidence, speed and clarity at every turn,” said Joe Kichler, senior vice president, Digital and Supply Chain, Cox Automotive. “Our latest enhancements are about bringing more vibrancy to the marketplace and empowering buyers to make smarter decisions, faster, wherever and however they shop—digitally, physically or a combination of both. And this is just the beginning.”

A Foundation for the Future: A Unified Marketplace

Manheim’s digital evolution is laying the groundwork for a truly unified marketplace—where the in-lane and online experiences come together seamlessly. These enhancements are the first steps toward a seamless experience that will connect every channel, every listing and every client. The journey is underway, and bigger things are coming in 2026.

What’s New for Buyers on Manheim.com

  • Condition Report Evolution: On the heels of Cox Automotive’s recent acquisition of Alliance Inspection Management (AiM), Manheim is continuing its journey to deliver the industry’s most comprehensive and consistent vehicle condition information—whether the vehicle is inspected onsite at a physical Manheim location or offsite at a dealer’s lot. As part of this effort, Manheim is consolidating its condition reports (CRs) into a single, consistent view on the vehicle details page (VDP) for cars inspected by Manheim. This streamlined experience means fewer clicks, more consistency, easier comparisons and ultimately increased buyer confidence.
  • Personalized Recommendations (“For You”): Powered by proprietary Cox Automotive AI algorithms, the new “For You” tab surfaces vehicles tailored to each buyer’s unique business—drawing on bidding patterns, purchase history, preferences across Manheim’s digital and physical channels and retail market conditions. Much like having highly personalized content served up on social media platforms, the new “For You” experience is designed to help buyers effortlessly cut through the 140,000 daily listings on Manheim.com and be instantly served with competitively priced inventory that is tailored to them.
  • Sale Lights Visualization on SRPs and VDPs: Trusted sale lights from the auction lanes are coming to the forefront of digital listings, giving buyers a clear, visual signal of the seller’s confidence in whether the vehicle condition is complete as described and whether they wish to stand behind the sale. With an all-new visualization on the search results page (SRP) and VDP, this enhancement bridges the physical and digital experience, helping buyers manage risk and make faster, more confident decisions.
  • MMR Range Display: Manheim.com now shows the complete Manheim Market Report (MMR) range on SRPs and VDPs. The MMR range shows both high and low estimated wholesale values where the vast majority of sales are expected to fall for each vehicle. Fueled by millions of physical and digital transactions, this expanded view gives buyers a clearer view of market variability, enabling more confident, data-driven bidding and buying decisions.
  • Inventory Curations: Strategic groupings like "Price Drop," “2nd Chance Sale” and “Absolute Sale” now appear on the Manheim.com homepage, spotlighting high-quality vehicles based on price, condition and seller rating. These curated selections help buyers zero in on the right cars, right now.

Driving Results, Building Confidence
These enhancements are already making an impact: buyers are able to see more relevant inventory, make faster decisions and bid with greater confidence. And with every update, Manheim is investing in the future—bridging digital and physical and building an unmatched unified marketplace that will take the client experience to the next level.
