ATLANTA – In an effort to support the news media covering the vehicle remarketing industry, the press room on Manheim.com has been redesigned with additional resources to put company news and information at the media’s fingertips. The URL for the user-friendly site is press.manheim.com.
“The new press room site provides the news media, industry leaders and others with easy access to Manheim information and data, which in turn will provide a greater visibility for our company,” said Lois Rossi, senior director of public relations for Manheim. “Reporters often have a limited time to find facts and sources for stories, so making our site more user-friendly and helping reporters meet deadlines can insure Manheim mentions as vehicle remarketing stories are told.”
Due to the nature of the wholesale vehicle market, Manheim is not a house-hold brand like fellow Cox Automotive companies, AutoTrader and Kelley Blue Book. The Press Room site, created to have a similar look to the media pages for parent company Cox Enterprises, AutoTrader and Kelley Blue Book, will help the Manheim PR team share important data, company news, auction footage and much more.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to attend a vehicle auction and take in the fast-paced action and watch as a fast-talking auctioneer rattles off bids?
Well now reporters and auto enthusiasts can catch a glimpse into the world of vehicle remarketing by downloading auction b-roll or by visiting the online press kit to download the Manheim logo, auction pictures, the company fact sheet or the 2015 Manheim Used Car Market Report.
Manheim features 79 auction locations in North America, including Manheim Pennsylvania, the world’s largest auction. Visitors of the site can watch a video to see what a day in the life at Manheim Pennsylvania is like.
Not only will a visit to Manheim.com’s new site provide access to plenty of information and resources, but it also includes vehicle industry resources, an overview of a 70-year-old company that includes 122 world-wide locations, ground-breaking research and data, up-to-the minute news and media releases, and features bios of leaders.
A tour of the new site begins at the main Press Room page, which includes separate pages for company overview, media releases and company leader bios.
The research and data page includes links to PDF copies of the 2015 Manheim Used Car Market Report and Auto Industry Brief for January 2015 and other bright and colorful vehicle remarketing industry graphics.
The expanded media release page includes a newly-created search function and separate pages for releases grouped by years dating back to 2008.
Can’t find what you are looking for on the new site? Or are you a reporter seeking a source for a story? Please reach out Lois Rossi or John Heid of the Manheim PR team.
