BOSTON –Nine Manheim locations across the country were honored for outstanding performance by customers – including three awards from Wheels – at the 66th annual National Auto Auction Association convention held last week in Boston.

Manheim locations (Manheim Dallas, Manheim Denver, Manheim Harrisonburg, Manheim Orlando, Manheim Philadelphia, Manheim Pittsburgh, Manheim Riverside, Manheim Seattle and Manheim Statesville) were recognized with 11 different awards by Chase Auto Finance and Wheels, Inc. for their commitment to delivering outstanding performance.

“Being singled out by customers for helping them meet their business goals is one of the highest compliments Manheim can receive,” said Janet Barnard, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Manheim North America. “We were honored to experience this recognition. These awards are a testament to the commitment by our location teams to deliver top-notch performance and customer service. We are so very proud of them.”

The following is a summary of the awards presented to Manheim locations at the NAAA convention:

Chase Auto Finance announced its 2014 Chase Cup for Auction Excellence award winners, which were determined based on a performance review of 31 of the nation’s best auto auctions from August 2013 through July 2014. For the 16th annual Chase Cup awards, Chase examined data measuring on how well the auctions handled preparation, sales, invoice processing, transport requests, title processing and other capabilities. Six different locations were honored, including:

  • Manheim Orlando received the Douglas F. Wininger Memorial Award for Best National Performance Service Delivery, an award that recognizes outstanding service in measurable areas that include invoicing, sales, transportation management and other operational measures. Orlando won this award last year as well.
  • Manheim Seattle earned three national and regional awards, including best performance in the West and best national performance in Mazda and Subaru sales.
  • Manheim Dallas – Best National Jaguar Sales
  • Manheim Riverside – Best National Land Rover Sales
  • Manheim Pittsburgh – Best Regional Performance, Northeastern
  • Manheim Denver – Best Regional Performance, Central

Wheels Inc. honored top-performing auctions in each region based on year-to-date Black Book Commercial Vehicle Index, days to pick up, days to post condition reports and days to sell. To qualify for the Wheels Vendor Performance awards, auction partners had to sell Wheels vehicles for the entire Wheels fiscal year and sell 500 units or more.

Manheim operating locations were represented in three out of the eight awards handed out, including:

  • Manheim Harrisonburg (Eastern Top Performing Auction)
  • Manheim Philadelphia (Eastern Region Highest Quality Auction)
  • Manheim Statesville (Southeast Region Top Performing Auction)
