ATLANTA – As part of its continuing focus on serving customers in any way they choose, ManheimJoe George announced the promotion of Joe George to senior vice president, digital and in-lane product development. "Joe's deep in-lane auction experience and solid understanding of emerging digital trends positioned him well for this critical role," said Janet Barnard, Manheim executive vice president and chief operating officer. "Joe has done a terrific job of listening to our customers and delivering the types of products and support they've asked for and need today, as well as in the future," said Barnard.
George, an auto industry veteran, joined Manheim more than 21 years ago as a marketing/arbitration manager. Since then, he has held numerous positions within the Cox automotive family of businesses. He was one of AutoTrader.com's first employees. He also held leadership positions at Cox AutoTrader and at Cox AutoTrader/AutoMart.
