Manheim Promotes Two Leaders Into Market Vice President Roles
Ford and Coutu Selected to Lead Florida and North Central Markets

ATLANTA – As part of the company’s focus to position top talent to drive business strategy within its market operations, Manheim has promoted two leaders into key roles. Mark Ford has been named Market Vice President for Manheim’s Florida Market and Rich Coutu has been named Market Vice President for the North Central Market.

 

“Mark and Rich are proven leaders who can run an excellent operation while also building strong and lasting customer relationships. Both are industry veterans who know a lot about what our customers need and can help us deliver,” said Tim Janego, Regional Vice President of Operations—East.

 

Mark Ford has been with Manheim for 24 years. In his new role, Mark will lead the Florida Market’s nine Florida operating locations and one Puerto Rico location, continuing to grow the business and enhance the customer experience for dealers.

 

Mark moves into this role after serving as Market Vice President for the North Central Market for more than two years. Under his leadership, this market had outstanding financial performances and added multiple new commercial and dealer accounts to their portfolio. Prior to his MVP role, Mark was General Manager at Manheim Ohio for three years.

 

Rich Coutu joins the North Central Market team from Manheim Financial Services (MFS), where he has been Vice President, Operations since 2012. Rich will be responsible for leading the North Central market’s six operating locations, driving business strategy to maximize market return and exceed customer expectations.

 

In his MFS role, Rich has been responsible for leading MFS through the merger and integration of MAFS, Manheim Credit and Collections, Export Trader, and Canada. Prior to working with MFS, Rich served as Vice President, Operations and Business Development for Dealer Services Corporation (DSC), which Manheim acquired in 2012.

 

While at DSC, Rich served in roles of increasing responsibility including Vice President of Operations and Business Development, Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Regional Vice President and General Manager for the New England market. Before working at DSC, Rich was with Enterprise Rent-A-Car Company of Boston for eight years, where he developed a diverse background in corporate sales, remarketing, and retail operations.
