Manheim celebrates a “revolutionary sales weekend” With star-spangled series of online event sales

ATLANTA – A Fourth of July celebration of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is an American tradition – and so are themed holiday sales at automotive dealerships around the country.  To ensure that there’s plenty of fresh post holiday-inventory for everyone, Manheim is celebrating our nation’s freedom by hosting more than a dozen Online Event Sales during a July 2 through July 6 “Revolutionary Sales Weekend.”

Buyers will find many of the best automotive brands and top-name sellers, all offering quality used vehicles, from domestic to import nameplates.  From leading car rental fleets such as Avis and Hertz to the latest pre-owned cars from captive financial services leaders, including Ford, Jaguar, Lexus, Toyota and Volvo, buyers will have total freedom of choice to stock up for the summer selling season.

“We are excited to bring some of the greatest automotive names in the industry together online,” said Nick Peluso, senior vice president customer management, Manheim. “We created the Revolutionary Sales Weekend specifically to give our customers a flexible way to bid and buy all weekend long, whether they’re at home enjoying the holiday with friends, on the road with family or in the office helping their customers get into a great new pre-owned vehicle.”

Sellers aren’t just presenting a great line-up of inventory, many are offering special incentives.  For example, Toyota and Lexus Financial Services’ Online Event Sale starts Friday, July 2, at 8 p.m. and ends during the traditional Manheim Monday, July 5, at 2 p.m. Buyers purchasing during “The Fourth of July Weekend Online Event Sale” presented by Toyota Financial Services and Lexus Financial Services will increase their odds of winning one of 16 Apple iPads®.

And, since nothing says America like Ford and the Fourth, the Ford July 4th Online Event Sale, starting Friday, July 2, at 6 a.m. and ending on Manheim Monday, July 5, at 11 p.m., presents a great buying opportunity for dealers over the patriotic weekend.  More than 2,000 “Buy Now” units will be available in open and closed sales. Buyers can also take advantage of Ford Credit floor planning and Manheim’s buy-back guarantee.
