Arthur Sullivan has been a part-time driver at Manheim San Francisco Bay since December 2014. Known for his work ethic and positive attitude at Manheim, his passion extends beyond auction doors. A drive for helping others led Sullivan to join the American Red Cross, whom Cox Automotive formed a national partnership with this year. Trained in First Aid and Hardship Certifications, Sullivan deploys on multiple humanitarian missions each year.

Sullivan's travels include aiding flood victims in South Carolina, Louisiana and Middleton, California. Most recently, he completed a tour in San Bernardino, Calif., providing relief to victims of the raging wildfires. He is currently planning another trip to support the Louisiana flood victims.

“We could not be more grateful for the work that Art does and are honored he chooses Manheim to bring balance to his endeavors,” says Human Resource Manager Timothy Chong. “We hope Art’s sincere passion for people can serve as inspiration to our team members and clients.”

Since each mission requires time away, Sullivan has found flexibility in his part-time work. This work-life balance is supported by the team at Manheim San Francisco Bay and enables him to help others in their time of need. Together, Cox Automotive, Manheim and Sullivan support the Red Cross’ mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
